Hi, Aplogies , if this has been asked somewhere else. When are we going to support "shmmax" more than 2GB..? Informix R & D wants us to try couple of things with this to enhance the performance,but not able to do so with this restriction. Any plans..in the future releases..? thanks S i v a Infx On-site Engg

Currently, if you want more than 2GB, you loop though creating 2GB chunks contigous to each other... We plan to change this, probably in steel...it is a simple think to work with today. |
