Hi Folks,
Got an interesting question. How the cron jobs are
interpreted just before, while and after Standard to Daylight
savings time.
One of our customers says, some user jobs that have been
scheduled at 3.30AM (he modified the time only previous late evening)
on Saturday ran at 4.30 instead while some root jobs didn't run
at all.
My questions is is cron keeping track of internal kernel
representation of toy clock or its also trying to interpret
the time just like 'date' does..
Any comments would be of great help
Regards
Sri
