Hi people: I have a problem with joind. Operating System has been updated from 3.2c to 4.0b. Joind isn't started giving the following message in the daemon.log and /var/join/log: unix joind[14486]: DB is not writable: locked by another process unix joind[14486]: JOIN server shutdown on Tuesday April 08 10:54 unix inetd[487]: /usr/sbin/joind: exit status 0xfffff300 Daemon is not started.The /etc/rc.config line bootps is the following: bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/joind joind Directory /var/join : All dbs permisions 644 root system Exists the file rwlock with 0 bytes /etc/rc.config: JOIND="yes" Any idea? You should remove : /var/join/rwlock and/or start joind manualy with : joind -d4 -f to see what's happens.. Manuel. | |||||
