Hi,
We have a few problems in installing ALLIN1 TURBO CHANNEL DRIVER 1.33 on
DIGITAL Unix 3.2C on DEC ALPHA 3000/600.The card is recognised from the
console.After going thru the installation procedure,it failed to rebuild
a new kernal when done using the scripts or manually.The drivers were specific
for OSF/1 v1.3 and OSF/1 v2.0 as reported in PMS.readme file.We have a
requirement for this card to be installed on DIGITAL UNIX 3.2C.We would like to
know if MAGMA is still supporting drivers for TURBOCAHNNEL on DIGITAL UNIX 3.2
and above on DEC 3000 series.
Brief of the Requirements :
h/w : 3000/600 DEC ALPHA
s/w : Digital UNIx 3.2c
Controller : TC card with 8 serial ports and two parallel ports
Could anyone tell us whether this card is supported on 3.2c and above with
turbochannel option????

I know that Magma was working on making driver changes so that their driver would work with Digital UNIX V4.0 so I assume that they also support V3.2C as well. Unfortunately, you may need to contact Magma to find out what versions of Digital UNIX they support. --dennis [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||
