The /tmp directory in my Workstation is too small. I couldn't make a soft link to another directory because /tmp is already exists. Can I mount /tmp to another disk or partition ? Or make a soft link ? Rgds.

If you have the spare partition, it is safer to move to its own file system. That way the mount point will be the plain directory you might need running single user. If you need the extra space you mount by hand. | |||||

Oh, also check to see if you application(s) you're running honor an environment variable to can be used to select an alternate place for temporary space; TMPDIR is the usual one I think. |
