    Strange but true...
    
    Is it possible to disable the multi volume capability of tar?
    (eg. such that it returns an error if end of tape is reached)
    
    (a customer has an application which invokes tar to do multiple
    archives to tape, if any error occurs, including EOT, they want
    to be able to rewrite the current archive on another tape)
