9077.0. "BugChk from OS PALcode" by MSE1::HOWES () Fri Mar 07 1997 20:28
Hi All,
I'm seeing the following error in this system's errorlog. I've
checked this notes file, the internal Qar data base and the latest
V3.2D1 (This system's DIGITAL Unix) patch README file and haven't
been able to correlate this error to a known problem. Generally
Machine Checks are hardware errors, but I don't see any anomolies
in this error string, but I could be remiss. Any ideas? I know there's
a machine check decipher program available for 4100 and 3000 type
systems but I couldn't one for 2X00 systems. These errors occur in
bunches about once every two weeks. I haven't yet correlated them to
what was occuring on the system and why these errors haven't caused a
panic and why the customer hasn't reported/noted a problem.
Here I'm trying to be a little pro-active.
thanks /jack
