Hi,
A customer runs this script on version 3.2C successfully. When running
in version 4.0 he got the error bellow. Does anyone has ever seen this?

| I think you need to talk to Oracle. Those messages come from the
Pro*C compiler, not our compiler. It looks like they're choking on some
new stuff that was added to types.h.

| Pro*C does NOT compile on DUNIX V4.*. This is an Oracle problem. The
good news is that this problem also exists on HP.

Thank you for the replies. Just for documentation, the Oracle version
that the customer has installed is 7.3.2 that doesn't seems to be
supported on DIGITAL UNIX 4.0. Oracle's homepage points versions
7.3.2.1 an 7.3.2.2 as the versions supported on 4.0.

| Oracle 7.3.2.3 is supported on DUNIX V4.0b. It also has the Pro*C
problem.
Oracle's web page may not state that 4.0b is supported, but it is.
Their web page is behind sometimes.

| The interesting thing is that the Pro/C sample files that come on the
Oracle CD, won't compile with the Pro/C compiler that comes off the
same CD on Digital UNIX 4.x! And Oracle claims that 4.X is supported!
Oracle is in the DARK AGES when it comes to Quality Assurance!
