9028.0. "dumpstyle parameter?" by NETRIX::"[email protected]" (R.J. Riha) Tue Mar 04 1997 10:59

customer had heard somewhere (UNIX Symposium??) about something called
"Dumpstyle"
for UNIX. From his explanation, it sounds like a parameter relating to the
output of crash dumps. I have searched, but find no mention of it in with
relation to UNIX. It appears to be a VMS command. Have I missed something,
or
is this something planned/discussed for a future release??

Thanks

R.J. Riha

Check out Chapter 4 of the "Kernel Debugging" manual; managing crash
dumps. The kernel variable is partial_dump.
