If I run
# file /dev/tty*
to look at LAT pseudo-devices, some of them are described as "OSF1
terminal", others are just "terminal"
Example ...
/dev/tty05: character special (5/3) LAT #0 OSF1 terminal #3
/dev/tty06: character special (5/4) LAT #0 terminal #4
Can anyone please explain the difference?
Thanks in adance

This indicates the type of the connected lat service node. Try set host/lat from vms then you will see that the terminal is LAT #0 VMS terminal to show the the source node is VMS. This is what I have seen so far I think it clears the state everytime. Cheers Mark :) | |||||
