Hello,
I have a customer who as this problem:
On his Alpha Stations 255 , with Digital unix 4.0b, Firmware revison 6.3 and
OSF palcode 1.46, using CDE and doing the following sequence:
Application Manager
System Admin
Daily Admin
System Information
( Identification )
He gets:
TRAP: Invalid memory read access from Kernel mode
panic (cpu 0): Kernel memory fault
.
.
.
Are there any information about this ?

See note 8455.* - I think it's the same isue.

Definitely the same thing as 8455.*. Remove /dev/es10 and this
problem will go away.
