     Hi,

        Does anybody know where the Ping of death patch for Dunix with AltaVista firewall
Could be found ??  My customer has Dunix version 3.2d-1.

      Hi Jeff,

          thanks for your reply. 
   I've been looking for the pointer in the notes and tima but the pointers I've found 'till
now didn't work. I could found the compressed file with all patchs inside, but this patch
are not to be applied to systens with AltaVista firewall.
   I've already tried these address:

      http://www.service.digital.com/html/whats-new.html >> It has a link to the path 
location but doesn't work.

      ftp://ftp.service.diogital.com/public/ping  >>  Doesn't work too !!!

  I've tried also ftp://oskits.zk3.dec.com/patches/osf/ping  >>> It has patch only to 
versions up to 3.2c and nothing about firewall.

    Could you help me ??

	As I indicated in .1, use the AltaVista NOTES search engine
	and use the search string (and including the quotes):

		"ping of death"

	currently finds 53 matches in various notesfiles including
	this one (and including this duplicate topic :-)

...or, since you're looking for a firewall patch, look in the 
firewall conference at NOTED::SEAL.
