8922.0. "Scheduling Software" by CHEFS::WILKINSON_M () Fri Feb 21 1997 10:11
Hi
Has anyone got any recommendations on Scheduling software for DIGITAL
UNIX ?
By scheduling software I mean something like Polycenter DECscheduler.
I do not wish to consider Polycenter (or CA's) Scheduler product as its
long term future with CA is uncertain - Due to the fact that its
database format is informix and CA own Ingres.
I am looking for a product which is capable of handling large complex
scheduling tasks. It would be preferrable if it could schedule tasks
on remote systems and have a reporting module (Jobs ran successfully,
failed, time to complete etc..).
Remote scheduling on other operating systems would be good.
What's out there !
