Hi folks,
customer gets the following error message on:
#vrestore -t
vrestore: dump date ....
vrestore: dir_write () error; [2] no such file or directory
The corresponding vdump command has been submitted like this:
# /sbin/vdump -0 -CDu -f /dev/rmt0h -b 64 /usr1
and seemed to work fine. Customer can restore files from the tape using
the interactive mode, but there's no way to make a full restore. I found
a similar problem documented in the patches of V3.2f but my customer has
V3.2g and I couldn't find anything for this problem among the
V3.2g-patches. Does anyone out there know anything related to this
problem on V3.2g? I have no possibility to test it here.
