Hi,

Console keyboard and mouse hangs intermittently. After killing
xdm process the console resumes but not keyboard and mouse.
To activate the keyboard and mouse one has to reboot the machine.

System : 2100 4/275
Model  : DY-252P1-J9.
OS     : V3.2G, no patches.

Any suggestions are welcome !

Some hang problems were found in the mouse/keyboard driver.
They will all be fixed (including the ability to plug/unplug
the mouse and keyboard during run-time) in the next release.
Here is patch information for previos releases,
I took this patch info from Note 8454.1, please post a note
so we know if they solved your problem:

problems with the keyboard or mouse freezing:

These patches will be available from the CSCs in the near future.

    Thanks for the information and the pointer. I have downloaded the patch
    and given to the field and asked them to apply the same. I will come to
    know if the problem got resolved by applying the patch only after a
    couple of weeks. I shall update this note accordingly.
