8859.0. "What compares to MeasureWare??" by DYOSW5::WILDER (Does virtual reality get swapped?) Mon Feb 17 1997 19:56

Customer plans on running SEVERAL production systems for a benchmark of
our TruCluster Production Server (dual 8200s) against their current HP
environment. They currently use MeasureWare from HP on all their HP,
Sun, and IBM systems. There is not now, nor is there planned, a version
of Measureware for DUNIX. I have no idea what MeasureWare offers for
monitoring info. Also, it appears that the HP notesfile is gone.

Therefore, what can we offer to monitor our clustered systems that is
comparable to MeasureWare? Or, is there some tool that does what
MeasureWare does that we offer that also can monitor HP systems?

They need some common ground to determine performance, resource
    utilization, etc.

    Any ideas/suggestions??

    Thanks,

    /jim
