I have a question about TLZ09 & TLZ07 on Digital UNIX. On Digital UNIX ( V3.2G, AlphaServer1000A, TLZ07 ) # tar c .login # tar t .login On Digital UNIX ( V3.2G, AlphaStation250, TLZ09 ) # tar c .login # tar t .login But, it error then each tape change # tar t tar : [offset 0]: I/O error It's a bug ?? Could you expound on the part: "But, it error then each tape change �# tar t tar : [offset 0]: I/O error" What tape change? Are you actually changing tapes, or just letting the tape in it rewind? Does it happen on both drives or just one? Have you looked at the error log to see what the error is? When using uerf(8) to format the error log use the option "-o full". |
