Cross-posted in the ATM conference. How many LAN-Emulation Clients are supported under Digital UNIX 4.0b? Is it different for the 350 vs. the 750 card? If so, what would be the numbers for each? Is this documented somewhere that I overlooked? In searching for a specific answer to this question, I saw that there may be a sysconfigtab parameter which they would need to set to take advantage of the maximim number of LEC's. I would also like to verify this under Digital UNIX 4.0b. Nancy Flavell

Note 822.2 Maximum number of LAN-Emulation Clients? 2 of 2 SMURF::MENNER "it's just a box of Pax.." 3 lines 13-FEB-1997 23:04 Ditto for Digital UNIX ... 8 LAN-Emulation Clients (LECs) per ATMworks 350/750 card. However the sysconfigtab parameter, nelan, controls the system wide limit of LECs. The default value is 4. The maximum value is 64. |
