1. One of my customer had the problem which related SCSI_CAM errors as below.
I've started to install two 8400 systems since two weeks ago.
It seemed no problem until 1-FEB and configuration as below. But one of
system was rebooted automatically with CAM_SCSI error on 3-FEB night .
So I patced cam_isp1020.mod file ( test version.) on 6-Feb morning.
I copied this inform in my system decnet account dekps1(22660)::
After patch, it seems to run fine. But one of system was rebooted with
panic (cpu 3): pmap_ssm_destroy: wired_pages error as attatched.
2. My question are what's mean this error & what's the best solution for
solving this problem.
3. Environment
a. H/W
8400 SW800 8400
kzpsa ------------ HSZ40--------------- kzpsa
kzpsa ------------ HSZ40--------------- kzpsa
mc ----------------------------------------mc
Each hsz40 has 3 * BA35X and rz29b-vw * 18
All disks are Striped mirrorsets which all size are 12Gb .
All disks in SW800 aer DRD service for Oracle.

Dunix v4.0a and TruCluster v1.4
Oracle 7.3.2.3

We have seen similar panics elsewhere and are investigating. As a
work around you might try turning off new-wire-method by adding the
following to /etc/sysconfigtab and reboot.

| I also notice that you are still using the unsupported UERF.
Your HSZ40 is getting errors and trying to tell you about them.
By using the unsupported UERF you are choosing to ignore those
error notices from the HSZ40.
If you use the fully supported DECevent, it will correctly
expand the full text of the HSZ40 error and let you see what
the HSZ40 is trying to tell you about.
