8761.0. "compatibility: 4.0,4.0A,4.0B,etc." by HYDRA::DONSBACH (Jeff Donsbach, Software Partner Engineering, DTN 297-6862) Fri Feb 07 1997 14:19

    If an application is built on 4.0B (564), what is both the official and
    unofficial position on that application being runnable on
    4.0 (386) and 4.0A (464)?

    I probably know the answer but would just like to hear from the
    people that would really know.

    Thanks,
    -Jeff

The official position is it's not supported. Unofficially, it'll probably
work. (It usually only breaks when new syscalls are added, and I don't
think there were any in A or B)
