Hi there, I'd like to fix a tty device with an specific value of TERM variable. I've changed /etc/inittab to look like the line below: lat635:34:respawn:/usr/sbin/getty /dev/lat/635 console vt400 If I login on this pseudo tty using csh my TERM variable is set to vt400, but if I use ksh to login my TERM variable is set to vt100. How could I do using ksh to specify TERM inside /etc/inittab ? Thanks a lot and best regards, Paula Clark - CSC/Rio.

More info: I was doing some testes and noticed that sometimes TERM variable is set to vt400 on ksh, but sometimes not. So, what is fixing vt100 to the TERM variable intermittently ? The LAT connection is started from my PC using KEA! Term. Thanks a lot, Paula. | |||||
