Some of us use the ULTRIX/RISC version translated to Digital
UNIX by mx -- it mostly works correctly (for me) and it is my
usual editor on Digital UNIX.
There is also nu/TPU, a third-party editor that is
TPU-compatible. I don't have any experience with it (my
initial reaction was that it costs too much!), however I do
know it is available on many platforms including Digital UNIX
and Windows NT and 95 -- see
http://www.asoft-dev.com/asoft-dev/ for more info.

| Is 'mx' a built-in application? I don't see any reference to it in the
Docuementation Overview, Glossary, and Master Index.

| It was never ported. A few people started the work but then gave up
for what ever reason (real work getting in the way maybe!).
Translating the MIPS code is the best attempt.
As for NU/TPU - I have not heard anything recient about their product so I
can not comment.
