Hi,
I have a customer who wants to enable RFC1042 on Unix V4. This to send
TCP/IP over IEEE 802.3. The SPD states that 1042 is supported but
ifconfig has no such parameter.
Any information would be appreciated.

We are conformant to RFC1042 for 802.5 (Token Ring) networks. For
802.3 networks, we can receive either 802.3/802.3 SNAP frames/Ethernet
II frames. But we only send Ethernet II frames.
