| "a" means Alpha in the "Personal Workstation" series.
We are now on our THIRD naming convention for Alpha Workstations in
less than one year.

| This is the NT version of the Miata. There will be a variant that runs
Digital UNIX in the not-too-distant future. As for the current boxes,
this is the answer I got from someone in the know:
No. It's a different family (systype). It won't be recognized.

But be aware:
Customers will have to pay the "Unix-penalty" it will
probably more expensive than the NT-variant..........
