8586.0. "porting assistant and custom make utility" by MAIL2::GHAHRAMANI () Fri Jan 24 1997 13:46

A customer wants to use the nporting assistant tool, however they have
their own "make" utility. Is there a way to redirect from the default
gnumake to their custom make utility? (The customer would like to find
away to do this without redirecting the link to gnumake).

What do you want to use a custom make for?

The porting assistant generates a gnumake makefile that it uses
to run its checks. This is independent from the make engine that
a user uses to build an application.
