8572.0. "ERROR - os_std, os_type = 4, std_type = 8" by DAIVC::RAMADONI () Fri Jan 24 1997 08:04
Dear all,
I have reinstalled OSF/1 V3.2B at DEC4600 and then installed patch for
V3.2B (V3.2B_bpatch).
After rebuild kernel and booted system using new vmunix, there was an
error messages when I tried to check all parameter using "uerf"
There is a sample of error messages :
****************************** ENTRY 56. *****************************
----- EVENT INFORMATION ----
OS EVENT TYPE 5.
OS EVENT TYPE 854088229.
SYSTEM ID x00020002 CPU TYPE: DEC 4000
SYSTYPE x00000000
SYSTEM STATE x0003 CONFIGURATION
ERROR - os_std, os_type = 4, std_type = 8
ERROR - os_std, os_type = 15, std_type = 8
ERROR - os_std, os_type = 15, std_type = 1
I'm not sure what happend with this O.S. because there is no error
messages due system startup. And I've checked at /var/adm/messages,
/var/adm/syslog/dated/24-Jan-17.50/kern.log and there was no error
messages found.
I just thought that this error messages probably caused by patches
Does anybody ever have this problem..?
