Any thoughts on this? Yes? No? We don't care? We care, but don't have time?

Peaches? Does this have anything to do with the Atlanta
	Customer Support Center?

This VAXnotes conference is not part of the official problem
escalalation chain for the CSCs. Many of the people that
answer questions here are associated with the Digital UNIX
engineering group only in that we work for the same company
and work with UNIX. There are some that do work in the
engineering group, but it is unlikely that answering questions
here is part of their job description.

Usually, people answer questions when then know the answer.
And they aren't too busy doing their real job. And happen
to notice the question. With the large volume of questions
that flow through here, many get missed the first time.

It is fair enough to ask "is this a bug", but if you have
paying customer waiting for an answer, don't wait for a
response from this conference before you escalate.

Yes. I work there.

That's not news here.

>>With the large volume of questions

Sure. And everybody understands that.

I don't. But I try to get my ducks in a row...especially when there's a
workaround in place, and the issue's not hot.

Sorry to have offended.
