| Well, just started my first clean DIGITAL UNIX install on my DEC 3000
M500 in two years, using 4.0b.
I see you have been busy!
So far trying to repartiion my disk has been the only place that I got
held up. I found I had to set all partitions to filesystem "unused",
"commit", then "close". Then start over, leaving filesystem "unused",
set all the sizes I wanted, "commit" and "close".
Then, if I revisited partiion disks, the tool shows only my A partion
(right size). Using the "Partition Table" button showed the other
partitions as I had specified.
Loading is in progress. Except for this glitch, so far I'd say great
stuff!
I really hope that when this tool is used for a "fresh install" it can
be changed to _never_ complain that it can't newfs a partition.
I'd also like to see it automgically sdjust the "following" partition's
start block when you enter a "too large" size for a partition.
But, when I got past the hiccups, gotta love it!
