| 4035.1 | same problem here... - any solutions? | NNTPD::"[email protected]" | Trish Cross | Wed Apr 16 1997 10:42 | 15 |
I find I have the same problem as the author of 4035.0 - when I start xcd while Netscape is already running, I get a bunch of Warning: Urm__RealizeColorTable: Could not load color 'grey48' - MrmSUCCESS I was getting the "can't find gainsboro" errors too, so I temporarily removed the /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Xcd file. That got rid of xcd's attempts to find the various colors, but not the 'grey48' error. Thanks for any help. -Trish C. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Personally, I always start netscape with the "-ncols 64" flag, to prevent netscape from chewing up my entire colormap. This might be a workaround for you. --Ken
