Reading through all of the notes in this conf on Courchevel and the Trois
Valles, it's easy to think - but why does everyone go on about it? Surely it
can't be that good?

Week before last I was there for 3 days (yes, I know!) - and I'm afraid I have
to agree with everyone else!

We stayed in Le Praz (Courchevel 1300), and skied just in Courchevel for 2
days (not enough), and got to Mottaret and Les Menuires on the other. So we
only missed about 50% of the place.

Good snow, well-kept pistes, no queues, huge variety of skiing. Ideal for
anyone wanting to experiment with off-piste as there's plenty within sight of
the bashed stuff.

Skied back to 1300 every evening, but perhaps most impressively, there's an
hourly bus-service from 1850 to 1300 - and the last one goes at 0010 (at least
according to the timetable it does)!

As everyone says - do you really need to go anywhere else?

Cheers,

grahame
