Hello ALL"-IN-1"

I am facing a problem and I would appreciate your help.

ALL-IN-1 v3.1 multi-language, French as principal,
US English as secondary.
MRGATE v3.3

When a mail is received, by using either FULLDB or Show Header,
you can see the Type (oa$curdoc_type) as MESSAGE if the profile
is French or MAIL if the profile is English. So far nothing special.

It works as expected, with the exception of one specific case:
When the mail comes from VAXMAIL through MESSAGERouter V3.3a,
it can be read (or whatever) with the French profile, but using
the English profile, the Type is not translated to MAIL and remains
as MESSAGE. The visible effect is that the mail is not refilled in
the read folder and gets a status of NOTED.

It has always been like this  whenever I used  an account created
with a French or English profile.

From a remote ALL-IN-1 system using EDT, I sent a mail. In that case
the mail was Text file coming through the MAILBUS like a VAXMAIL,
and it worked. The Type was correctly translated from MESSAGE to MAIL
provided I ran ALL-IN-1/Language=English.

Both my customer and myself would greatly appreciate if someone could
explain what is actually going wrong.

    Your problem is solved by ICF2 which has been superseeded
    by ICF#33:
