2707.0. "ALL-IN-1 V3.1 disk quota exceeded problem" by MSAM03::HOSOKEHUN () Tue Jun 03 1997 04:34

    Hi,

I used to support ALL-IN-1 V2.4 but is doing NT now.

However, internally we are currently experiencing a lot of ALL-IN-1
    problems.

    We have a two-node cluster running VMS V5.5 and ALL-IN-1 v3.1.
Recently, we have lots of problems sending out mails, error message -
ACP file create failed, disk quote exceeded.

The ALLIN1 account has got exquota priv, so why should we still have
the disk quota problem ? Is there other accounts that we should set to
exquota as well ? Just this morning, we have problems reading mails, we
got the header info but no contents !!!

Any idea or what other information do you require to help to solve this
    problem ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Angeline

    Angeline,

Sounds like a problem with the shared directories to me.
Have a look at your write window,

    $show logical OA$SHARE_HIGH (and OA$SHARE_LOW)

Then check to see if you have overloaded those directories.

Are you having problems sending mail or only reading mail?

Select one of the documents that has the header info but no content and
do a show header (SH) from the EM screen. Make a note of the filename
and then check to see if that file exists. If it does see if you can
newdir from the ALL-IN-1 manager account and read the contents.
If that is successful then it sounds like a protection/priv problem.

If the file doesn't exist then it sounds like you could not write the
    file into the shared directory.
