My customer is running ALL-IN-1 V3.1. When he runs the systidy jobs to convert the OA$DAF_E.DAT. It displays the following errors. RMS-F-CHK, bucket format check failied for VBN = 835 Covert failured for "DKA700:[OA4SHARE]OA$DAF_E.DAT "35" blocks recovered. I suspect SDAF file corruption. I review the notes topics 25 and 32. It has some tools (RECOVER.EXE and CABFIX) to fix this problems. Would anyone tell me where can I get this kit. I need to recover this problem for customer ASAP. Any advice should be appreciated.

Hi, I had a problem with an internal system (Note 2503). Not exactly the same error. I managed to get a copy of RECOVER off Dan Bekele (thanks Dan). It fixed our problem by stripping out the currupt record in the SDAF. I'm not sure what is the policy for customers though - I suspect there would be a consultancy charge as this probably goes beyond normal support - you will need to check this. EMail me or phone me on 830 3199 if you want to talk about this. Regards, Karl Strong. Mail and Messaging Group. UK Command and Control Centre. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||
