Hye, I have linked ALL-IN-1 V3.2 with X.500 Directory and Message-Router (not Mailbus 400). When we send a message from Teamlinks or a VT, ALL-IN-1 always use a Message-Router address 'TOTO (TOTO@A1@NODE)', instead of a direct ALL-IN-1 address, which is the default when ALL-IN-1 is linked with X.500 and Mailbus 400. Why?. The problem is not dependant of the value of the logical name OA$DIRECT_PRIME (1 or 2). Regards, Didier Courcoux [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Didier
This is very puzzling. Is TOTO a local user? In that case
OA$DIRECT_PRIME = 1 should have used the direct address. Did you just
type TOTO{RETURN} at the TO line?
For X.500/Mailbus 400 we do have a specific optimisation that avoids
using the O/R address if the user is local.

Dick, In fact, my customer cannot hit the full ALL-IN-1 account name in the TO field, because the name is coded with 32 characters. ( eg: DIDIER.COURCOUX.........A122088) From VT, my customer hit the first characters of the ALL-In-1 account name, plus RETURN or FIND. From TEAMLINKS, he use either the TO field, either the DIRECTORY SEARCH menu to find an address. In any case, the result product a Message-Router address didier [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||
