Hi AWI fans, A customer of mine is asking me if AWI could run without DSO license if the web server and the ALL-IN-1 server are on the same system. Could someone confirm me if this assumption is correct? Thank in advance Georges

No, it won't. As far as the FCS is concerned, the AWI is a remote client, so the DSO licence is needed. Hey, we need to make some money, and the AWI is *FREE*! | |||||

ALL-IN-1 users who move to Office Server get DSO free. And the next version of the Web Interface (for Office Server) is extended to allow access to your own filecab (ie not just public drawers) ... however it's not quite as free as AWI V1. |
