Greetings!
Someone please tell me which VMS shipped routines OA$DCL/OA$SUB_OPEN
touch or why after un upgrade of VMS (from V5.5 to V6.2) a batch job
that uses OA$SUB_OPEN and is submitted from a non-priv'd account simply
hangs. If I log into that same account and interactively issue
<OA$SUB_OPEN the sub-process is created.
Thanks much!
Dan

Thanks Dave but the solution is somewhere else...
To get listing of what files/modules are touched:
SDA>SHOW PROC/CHANNEL
which gave clue that the batch process had trouble opening A1SUB.LOG
which is only opened from batch and not when OA$SUB_OPEN issued
interactively.
