I have a customer who would like to upgrade to VMS v7.1.
They are currently running ALL-IN-1 V3.1. Is this compatible with VMSV7.1
or will they need to upgrade beforehand to ALL-IN-1 V3.2?

You need a patch to ALL-IN-1 V3.1 to run it on OpenVMS V7.0 or V7.1.  See
topic 2229 in this conference for more information.  ALL-IN-1 V3.2 contains 
the changes made by the patch.

    I'd always try and encourage the customer to upgrade to V3.2 where at
    all possible. This also gives them the path for installing Office
    Server V4.0 later in the year (you can't upgrade from V3.1).
