Are there any substantial differences between TeamLinks Connection (TLC) V2.5 and the TLC functionality in the ALL-IN-1 V3.2 release? I have a customer who is wondering whether they should upgrade their ALL-IN-1 V3.1 systems, which are running TLC V2.5, to ALL-IN-1 V3.2 for use of the Digital MAPI Driver for ALL-IN-1. Both environments are listed as supported. If there any major benefit to upgrading for support of this functionality? Thanks, - Dave

Hi Dave, To go into specific fixes would take a good deal of time, but basically the ALL-IN-1 V3.2 kit gives you an extra years worth of product fixes as it was completed in April 1996 as opposed to the TLC V2.5 that shipped a year earlier. This amounts to (very) roughly, 150 FCS and 60 AIDA server fixes. Upgrading to V3.2 would also place you in the position to be able to upgrade to Office Server V4.0 in the summer... -Kevin. | |||||

Thanks, that was the right level of detail I was looking for to persuade the customer that upgrading now will likely make the whole integration and interoperation process go a bit more smoothly. Much appreciated! - Dave |
