Customer is using GPC within ALL-IN-1. When doing an I (index) and leaving the fields blank, some users see the replies listed and other do not. The accounts are all captive with the same privileges. Looked at GPC SWC and the note to and from range fields are blank for all users. This is not a restricted conference. When selecting a particular note, all users see the number of replies, but when doing index do not see them. Any ideas?? Thanks Jean

I'd first try using the TPU interface from the accounts (you might have to uncaptive them first) and see if they can all see the same notes. Next, you could try using the NOTES functions directly, and see what comes out. I don't know off-hand what sequence of commands you'll need, a swift study of the APR will be required :-)

Thanks Graham, using the TPU editor we were able to see the replies. Turned on set watch file and doing the index there was an error about pre-processing the form oan$index$find. It had to do with time management. The user did not have a username.a1cal file. Once we created one using the FDL we were able to see the replies. Problem solved, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Jean

<<<< The user did not have a username.a1cal file. Once we created one <<<< using the FDL I usually just copy CALENDAR.A1CAL from OA$LIB:[.user] but I expect that creating it with the FDL will have the same effect. Interesting that the missing file was the cause of the problem - Good detective work on your part! |
