Hello, The "DRAFT DIGITAL Office Server Sales Update" states that OSVR will have the following feature: New fault tolerant File Cabinet and Data Access Servers provide automatic failover for connected clients with saving of the users context Does this means transparent reconnecting clients when a server or network link disappears ? This sounds a great feature for large customers with unstable network who loose connections from TeamLinks to MailWorks without a traceable reason. I guess a higher version of TeamLinks is needed to make use of this feature. Thanks, Jan

>> Does this means transparent reconnecting clients when a >> server or network link disappears ? Yes it does ! I also means automatic reconnection to another node in your Office Server cluster if you're current server fails to restart. It might not require a new version of TeamLinks either, but it's a little too early to be making those sorts of promises. As you can probably gather, this hasn't been implemented yet ! -Kevin. | |||||

It's more likely that it will require a new version of TeamLinks. However, the MAPI and Web clients should support it. |
