| Hi,
The site where Martin referenced to had problems with MailWorks,
SQL-net (Oracle) and Russell Calendar manager after upgrading
to UCX 4.1. All related to the failing gethostbyname (QIO).
Cheers,

| The Australian site does NOT have MailWorks and had problems starting
ALL-IN-1 AIDA and FCS servers over IP after upgrading to UCX 4.1.
They installed the UCX patch on a 'try it and see' basis last weekend
and so far no problems. The CSC are monitoring the situation and await a
long enogh period to be able to say for sure if it's resolved.
Draw your own conclusions!
Arfon.

2475.12 | Let's go back to the base note | UTRTSC::SMEETS | Workgroup support | Mon Jan 27 1997 08:01 | 22 |
| Hi Thomas,
Back to the original note.
>> A user send a mail From TL to another TL user over TCP/IP - no mail
>> notification.
>> He also send a mail over TL to himself ->no mail notification.
>> Address syntax : username
>> VT to TL (over TCP/IP) - newmail notification.
>> Address syntax : username
Is this all the time the same PC ?
It shouldn't make any difference if you send mail from TL or a VT client.
Are you sure there a problem with duplicate IP addresses, try to ping the IP
address.
Is the IP address listed in PC_NOTIFY the correct address ?
