Another related issue: When I go into MGT MM ML and read a .SYS_LOG file, often a new version of the file gets created. I guess it is because the file is locked while I am reading it. When I do SL Switch error and transaction log files, only the highest version of MTI$SEND.SYS_LOG and MTI$ERROR.SYS_LOG get renamed to .SYS_BAK - ALL-IN-1 then starts writing log information into the highest earlier version of MTI$SEND.SYS_LOG and MTI$ERROR.SYS_LOG To avoid that mess, I rename the MTI*.SYS_LOG files manually instead of using MGT MM SL. I have not checked it in v3.2. Is it corrected there, so that all versions of MTI*.SYS_LOG files get renamed when doing SL? Elin |
