Hi Could I repeat Dave's original question and ask how sites are using PMDF. I am specifically referring to sites that have TeamLinks / ALL-IN-1. Sample questions: * Do they still use DDS? * If so, do they synchronise it with PMDF-X500? In which direction? The current base level of Office Server allows TeamLinks users to do address lookups directly in PMDF-X500 (in fact any directory supporting the LDAP api). This could allow some sites to dispense with DDS and the associated synchronisation tasks. However I really need to understand better how PMDF sites are set up to determine whether there are more issues to consider. Dick

I am relatively new to digital, but came from a site that was using PMDF heavily. I work in the Mail Messaging and Electonic Commerce Practice archtitecting backbone solutions in multi platform mail environments. We recommend and use PMDF extensively. a few clients and they use it for. Republic National Bank (this is where I was formerly employed, they are clients, but not currently for PMDF) They use pmdf to interconnect ALL-IN-1, VMS Mail, CCmail, Lotus Notes, and a variety of SMTP mailers, and the internet Massachusets General hospital ALL-IN-1, Message Router, MSmail, and MS Exchange, Internet. Associated Press ALL-IN-1 Lotus Notes, Internet VMS Mail. It is an outstanding product, and the support staff is great. If you think you may have an opportunity at a customer site, you should proably get in touch with the Mail and Messaging Practice Director for your region. If you don't know who that is, I'd be happy to direct you. Regards Kenneth Maher, (212)856-3197
