hi

I do not know anything about all this but got the question anyway. A customer 
is looking for a class library (=template ?) for the use of ftp ( or more in
general perhaps tcp/ip) on Digital UNIX. This customer refers to the
 existence of it on VMS. They have C++  so if this library exists is it 
to be installed separately or is it included but perhaps they do not know where
to search for it ...

	You might have them look into Rogue Wave's library Inter.Net.h++. One of the Supported Protocols is FTP. For more info, look on Rogue Wave's home page, http://www.roguewave.com From there you can get a product overview.
