My customer just installed C++ V5.5 from the Oct '96 softward distribution
set. That compiler upgrade fixed a LOT of compiler bugs that he was
encountering. However, he is now getting three errors:
CXX: Fatal: A memory access violation (bus error or segmentation fault)
has occurred. Please submit a problem report.
The Alpha 4-processor system is in a classified area and has no network links.
Also the software is proprietary but maybe something can be worked out if the
code and makefile needs to be reviewed.
Anyway, it sounds like the above fix might do it. When will it be
available?
Please email me at [email protected]
Thanx,
