    Penthouse is better. :-) Of course I just read them for the

    I think they serve a purpose. I'd rather have the magazines
    made available for people who "need" them, then having
    the people "harass" women to fulfill their needs!!!

    While this discussion is probably better done in WOMANNOTES, I will
    concede that they serve a purpose for some. It's strictly IMHO only
    that I think they are stupid. There is one store that I frequent for
    periodicals of a whole 'nother sort that has a corner away from minors
    that displays and sells magazines of this type. Playboy and Penthouse
    and others are tame compared to what is sold here. There are amateur
    and so-called contact magazines that have photos and ads in them that
    leave absolutely nothing to one's imagination. THese are as hardcore
    and as fetish oriented as one can get. So if those are outlets for some
    folks, then it's OK. My problem is with those people who after viewing
    these magazines (and films) harass both men and women and sometimes
    children because thay think it's OK to behave that way if they saw it
    in print or else they are just perverts.

    I really do think that MENNOTES belongs discussing this issue
    over WOMANNOTES!   

    Now jacqui, I only said WOMENNNOTES because I've seen Eva's name there
    before and thought maybe a discussion could be started there. Although
    I believe we've done the pornographic magazines and tapes and
    exploitation bit a number of times. I didn't even think of MENNOTES, be
    cause I don't NOTE there or even have it in my directory.
    
    However, we can discuss it anywhee we want. That's OK with me.
