2058.0. "Co-Habitating with Spirits" by STRATA::DUVAL () Tue Jul 11 1995 01:33

    Hello,
    
        I want to hear from others on co-habitating with spiritual entities 
    that have yet to "cross over to the light".
    
        My 6 year old son for a while has told me about "Boomer" his
    imaginary friend. When Boomer first appeared he was with 2 others
    according to my son. Boomer would cause sudden load noises right before 
    he fell assleep. The other two he claimed looked after Boomer. When I
    first heard about this I thought it was merely an active imagination 
    of a young kid but when things in his room started to get rearranged
    while he not there I took a more serious approach. I had a friend come 
    over and help me "smudge" the house. Things seemed to be quite for a
    while. Then one day while coming home from trip the conversation led to 
    Danny's "friends. He perked up and claimed that "boomer" was upset
    because of the smudging  and that he and the other two were in the car
    with us. I felt a cold sensation run through the back of my neck. My
    wife was driving at  the time. I meditated and imagined a white light 
    encomapassing the car. My wife then mentioned that the car was starting
    to overheat. We pulled over to the nearest rest stop. I lifted the hood
    let the car cool down and checked things out. I had enough coolant. as
    I was making my way around the side of the car I felt something pull my 
    hand in towards the open bay of the car and for some reason the hood
    came crashing down. I pulled my hand away just in time to only recieve
    a scratch. 
        We made it home alright. I talked with a friend who is in tune with 
    the PSI and he told me that this was just an imature spirit that seemed
    to like the abundance of life in our family. We havve four kids. It
    seemsto be holding on and is looking for a place to feel like it
    belongs. Danny has described him as a young child who was "blown up".
    He even went into detail on how this kid was told to run by his father.
    I gather it was during a war of some sort. As he was running that is
    when a large gun hit Boomer. Boomer is apparently looking for his
    father. My son also claims that the other two are trying to get booomer
    to go with them toward the light but he is reluctant. I started to
    treat the spirit like he was one of my own kids and when his
    mischiefness started to get out of hand I would put him in time out.
       The events have seemd to ceased and I don't hear Danny talk much
    about "Boomer" anymore. We just recently Moved to Worcester, MA from
    Bowdoin, Me. It will be interesting to see if boomer comes with us or
    if he finally made it to the light.
