2045.0. "Striking a cord?" by WRKSYS::MACKAY_E () Thu May 18 1995 15:06

I am in the process of finishing up a book called
Imperial Woman by Pearl Buck. It is the life story
of the last ruling Empress of China. As I was
reading this, I started to feel kind of creepy. Now,
Pearl Buck was an excellent writer, she won a Nobel
Prize for Literature and a Pulitzer Prize. I've read
a couple of her other books. But this one, I could
almost get into the skin of this Empress, I could
almost feel the emotions. I realized some time during
lunch as I was recalling what I read last night,
that she was born in the autumn, around Oct/Nov
time frame. She must have been a Scorpio. Her temperment,
her beauty, etc, was typical Scorpion-like.

This is the second time that I feel this way about a
person. The first time I was reading the biography of
Picasso, my most favorite painter. He was a Scorpio,
too, to the fullest extent. I didn't feel creepy that
time, even though I could feel all the pain and emotions
in him, I could not imagine being a man!

And yes, I am a Scorpio, sometimes to scared to admit
    it...

Maybe I have too good an imagination...Has anybody felt
the same way when reading about people?
