   This is a little late, but people might be interested in attending. This
   event is this Saturday, September 17, 1994 at the Wayland High School
   grounds.

			Celebrating The Artist Within

   The purpose of the festival is to promote and celebrate the artist within
   each of us and to raise funds to recognize and support charities working to
   make the world a better place.

   We are pleased to announce the second annual "Celebrating The Artist
   Within" Festival. The Festival will be held on Saturday, September 17,
   1994, again on the Wayland High School grounds, 11am-5pm. Admittance is $5
   for adults; children under 15 are admitted free. The day promises to be
   fun-filled!

   The Celebrating The Artist Within Festival began with the simple idea of
   bringing artist and the community together in a charity event. We believe
   in empowerment through creativity, not only artistic, but the creativity of
   ideas and inventions. It is through our creations that we shall solve
   today's problems. Recognizing and supporting the creative voice within each
   of us will lead to a better tomorrow. We are a group of friends
   volunteering as the fund raising branch of the non-profit organization
   Victim Advocacy Network. We chose charities to express our concerns with
   the environment, the homeless, the needy, the abused, AIDS and world peace.

   Support in all areas is needed.

   To make this event a great success we need your support. Volunteers are
   needed to
   *  Be contributing sponsors
   *  assist in the planning of the Festival
   *  assist in many capacities the day of the Festival or beforehand
   *  contribute materials or money

   Contributing sponsors receive repeated recognition in the Festival ads
   placed in the Middlesex News. They also receive an ad in the Arts Festival
   program. 

   Business and personal sponsors receive a listing in the Arts Festival
   program. They are also listed in a thank you ad placed in the Middlesex
   News.

   For every $100 contribution, two Festival tickets for free admittance will
   be reserved for you. All contributors will be recognized the day of the
   festival.

   Contributions are tax deductible.

   At the festival there will be five categories of Art.

   FINE ART: Painting, Graphics, Photography, Portraits, Mixed Media

   FINE CRAFTS: Pottery, Jewelry, Sculpture, Fibers, Stained Glass, Metals

   PERFORMING: Dance, Music, theater, Mime, Comedy, Poetry, Street Artists

   INTUITIVE: Tarot, Palmistry, Psychic, Crystals, Runes

   HEALING: Massage, Reiki, Polarity
