1915.1 | A few books | HYLNDR::HARQUAIL | Magic Happens | Thu Feb 10 1994 11:20 | 8 |
| Hi June there are many books.
The original book, was "Behaving as if the God in all things
matter"
Excellant reading of the conception of Perelandra. I think there are
to or more books on findhorn, I never made it thru the initial book
on findhorn, but still good reading.

I had the pleasure of attending an open house at Perelandra last fall.
Though at first glance it doesn't appear to be anything out of the
ordinary it was truly a magical place. The gardens were lovely, my
favorite being the water garden. A very relaxed place and many nice
people. The only way to visit is to take one of the courses offered or
to attend an open house. Write to them for a schedule and a catalog.

| The *original* Perelandra is located 67 million miles out from the Sun.
I believe it's presently visible as a morning star.

I dug out the flier from the open house...too long to type it all in
but here's the first paragraph....
In 1976 we declared Perelandra a nature sanctuary and research center.
It is dedicated to the discovery and practice of nature's principles of
balance _as taught by nature_. Our primary focus has been in areas of
co-creative partnerships we humans can poteneially have with
nature-such as gardening, agriculture and health. The direction and
timing at Perelandra have been set by nature and this in itself has
been a tremendous learning process for us. Nature's sense of timing
and direction tends to defy our sense of logic! The research and work
that has gone on here is a result of careful listening to nature's
input as to what is to be done, step by step.
